Known as one of DC’s signature galas and charity fundraisers, the SneakerBall event has had a profound social impact on the greater Washingtonian community bringing together leaders from business, sports, politics and local nonprofits. It is the only black tie and sneaker gala that celebrates the best of sports in the Greater Washington, DC region while helping to raise money for the DC Special Olympics and Greater Washington Sports Alliance Foundation.

Our own Chief Relationship Officer (CRO), Steve Goodman, has been involved with this grand event since its inauguration in 2003. He looks forward to this event each year because it’s the only time he gets to wear his black tie suit alongside his fresh ‘Air Force One' kicks! But most importantly, being able to help fundraise and collaborate with local leaders at SneakerBall allows him to establish strong ties in the Washington region. Steve also serves on the board of DC Scores and is heavily involved with other nonprofits, thus, his commitment to empowering local nonprofits is undeniable.

Steve’s CRO role has taken on a new meaning for him ever since joining Arjuna, mostly because our nonprofit clients are experiencing incredible results using our breakthrough predictive analytics platform- Persanalytix®. This patented technology is revolutionizing the way nonprofits are looking at their donor base; therefore, building “relationships” and communicating these results within the nonprofit community allows Steve to continue his commitment of empowering nonprofits, but this time by communicating the power of predictive analytics and its social impact.
