Arjuna's CTSO Joins The ProjectCSGirls National Gala Event

ProjectCSGirls, a national youth-driven 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that works to close the tech gender gab through running a national computer science competition for middle school girls and workshops around the country, held their annual National Gala event on June 6th and 7th at George Mason University. The competition challenges girls to be makers and use tech to develop projects with social impact, empowering them to pursue technology and confidently step forward into a field as male-dominated as computer science. ProjectCSGirls, has reached over 500 girls this year through the competition and over 400 girls through their regional computer science workshops.

Arjuna's CRO Recognized With Georgetown Award

Highlights From CDAC's Inaugural Meeting

Arjuna Solutions’ Dr. Karin Remington joined a panel of 19 technology and data leaders for the Commerce Department's Data Advisory Council's (CDAC) inaugural meeting. Panel members from PayPal, Google, IBM, LinkedIn, Microsoft and others provided recommendations to the Commerce department on ways it can revolutionize its data. The two day meeting held at Google offices in Washington, D.C. produced an open dialog designed to enable public and private sectors the ability to speak freely on the topic of data. The goal of this and future meetings is for the Commerce Department to incorporate the private and public sector’s best data practices with the goal of leading them to new insights, innovation, and jobs.

Last month was quite busy for Arjuna Solutions as team members were scattered throughout Washington, D.C. holding speaking engagements at a local university and at an educational conference. In particular, Arjuna’s Marketing & Sales Manager, Tatiana Bertolo, was invited to speak to George Washington University (GWU) undergraduate students and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) students on “The Power of Predictive Personas”. The presentation was well received by students as they began to understand the importance of using predictive analysis to create customer segments (i.e. “personas") in order to build marketing and communication strategies and tactics that specifically target these personas.
